We have also made many forays into live music and I will definitely pick up the headphones you mention. A few things to add:* We try to feed our kids (now 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) right before leaving for a show so they're less edgy with hunger during the event* We often take both cars to events in case one of our babes is done well before the other. It's proven a good strategy on more than one occasion, as the younger one tires more easily and doesn't just nap anywhere any more. * Always bring more food and water than you think you'll need.
